Contact Committee

The Summerland Way Committee was formed in the early 60’s as a lobby group for the sealing of the road between Grafton and Casino. After that project was successfully completed the committee became inactive but was reactivated in the late 70’s in a bid to improve road conditions north of Kyogle and, ultimately, prove the real economic value of the Summerland Way as an alternative transport route and scenic drive between Coffs Harbour and Brisbane.

The objectives of the committee continues to be the promotion of the Summerland Way as an alternative route to the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Brisbane.
